Ingredients (2–3 servings)
Turkey

1½ lbs turkey, bite-size pieces

Salt & white or black pepper
Light Batter (this gives that look)

⅓ cup cornstarch
-
2 tbsp flour
-
1 egg
-
1 tbsp cold water

Neutral oil for frying (or shallow fry)
Honey Garlic Sauce

¼ cup honey
-
3 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp rice vinegar
-
1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional but helps color)

3 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp grated ginger
-
½ tsp sesame oil
-
1 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
Cook the Turkey

Pat turkey dry, season lightly with salt & pepper.

Mix batter ingredients until smooth.

Toss turkey to coat lightly (not thick).

Fry in 350°F oil (or shallow fry) until golden and crisp, 3–4 min.

Drain on a rack or paper towel.
Make the Sauce

In a clean skillet or wok, add honey, soy, vinegar, hoisin, garlic, ginger, sesame oil.

Bring to a gentle simmer.

Stir in cornstarch slurry.

Cook 30–60 seconds until thick, shiny, and sticky.
Finish
-
Toss crispy turkey in sauce just until coated (don’t soak it).

Kill heat immediately to keep the crunch.
