Ingredients

½ cup cold butter (cubed)
Instructions

Prep the apples:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and cornstarch (if using).

Spread evenly into a greased 9x13 baking dish.

Make the topping:

In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, sugars, cinnamon, and salt.

Cut in cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until mixture is crumbly.
